In the last 1 month

This last one was yesterday's lunch. Cant see much from here but it's actually teriyaki chicken udon (i did not use the instant sauce hence the colour is brown instead of black), with jap salad (sadly all the other veggie were too heavy so they sank to the bottom of the bowl). First time we used our new salad bowl! :)))

This was HK last week. Basically just running between the hospital & the bed.

This was during CNY. My mum in law is a fantastic cook. We had shark's fin soup, steamed fish with ginger & minced pork, seafood steamboat, and garlic cereal prawn!!! She did this all by herself!

No more blogs?

Seems like facebook is the way to communicate now... from snail mails to emails to blogs.. now if you need to know what is happening to a person, just to go facebook!!! It's amazing how powerful the internet is now.


Anyway, i'm also guilty of it. Have not updated this site for 2 months now... and many things have changed.. the biggest thing of course is that I've moved into my new home at Simei! Absolutely love it.


It's not so much the freedom.. but rather the change, a new life, a new responsibility. A feeling of ownership I guess.


It's almost time for me to prepare dinner now anyway... cooking seems like it's one of the things that kenneth & i both like to do a lot. We're less excited about washing up but that hasnt been a problem so far due to very manageable size of our kitchen. :)) Anyway here's what we had for dinner last night. Beef steak medium. I did the portobello mushrooms. The wine was very delicious, just got it from the airport last week. Oh by the way, I have a mini wine cellar in my home which I had asked the contractor to build and fit only 12 slots cos I thought we wouldnt have more than that at any one time. But guess what, 7 weeks after moving in, it's full to the max. Partly presents from friends and partly our own collection.. not good not good.. time to stop!.. but it goes really well with steak. Simple dinner we had but delicious and cost efficient!!!

Talking about the airport.. i guess i'll be going back again in the next 2-3 weeks for the teary good bye session. That's life I guess.. something that everyone has to go through.

Anyway, will update more again.. hopefully in less than 2 months! :))
